Went to The Three Compasses tearoom yesterday afternoon for a lovely tea with a group of ladies. We all enjoyed it. Beautiful china and so nicely laid out, it all looked wonderful! Good selection of sandwiches serves on tiered cake stands, followed by mince pies with cream (clotted & single), small cakes and a gorgeous chocolate cake. Plentiful supply of tea in vintage pots. We ended up with a pot of rhubarb & ginger gin served with tonic in pretty vintage bone china cups. What a great experience! Thank you.

A great place to while away an afternoon or evening. Many happy memories and pleased to discover that it's still just as brilliant.

I go here regularly, usually for lunch about once a month. It is always a lovely meal, well cooked and presented and the staff are pleasant and efficient. It's a pity they no longer include all the blackboard specials in their 2 course offer as that was extremely good value. The 2 course offer now is a very limited choice, which is a bit disappointing to be honest, but despite this, it is still a very enjoyable place to go for a delicious meal. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic establishment. The place is fantastic. Clean, with a great atmosphere. The outside area is also very appealing. Not much to dislike.

This Inn is really good! The carvery is amazing, the drinks are good and it has a children's play area which looks quite fun! Would recommend this! Only flaws were the queues at the bar to order drinks and food and also that the beer tasted a little too watery.

Great food and service. Friendly staff good atmosphere. Small and very busy place recommend book in advance.
